From Pastors apoc and mj antu

Pastors Apocalypsis (Apoc) and Maria Jose (MJ) serve as the Campus Pastors of Citizen Maui, having previously served as Associate Pastors. Together, they are passionate about leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus and building a healthy, life-giving church.

Apoc brings over 24 years of ministry experience, having served in roles such as worship leader and executive pastor. MJ is a creative leader and professional photographer with more than 15 years of experience, using her gifts to serve the church and community with excellence.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Wear whatever feels comfortable. You’ll see everything from jeans and t-shirts to business casual. There’s no dress code and no pressure to look a certain way.

  • We gather every Sunday at times listed on our Visit page. You can join us in person or online. Each service includes worship, teaching, and opportunities to connect.

  • A typical service lasts about an hour. You’ll experience live worship, a practical and encouraging message, and a warm, welcoming environment. You’re invited to participate, but you’re welcome to simply observe if you prefer.

  • No. We won’t ask you to stand, raise your hand, or introduce yourself publicly. We want your first visit to feel relaxed, comfortable, and pressure-free.

  • Free parking is available on site. Our team will help guide you when you arrive to make the process simple and smooth.

  • Yes. Citizen Kids offers safe, fun, age-specific environments for children from birth through fifth grade. All team members are trained and background-checked. You can check your kids in when you arrive or learn more on our Kids page.

  • We offer environments designed specifically for middle school, high school, and young adults. These ministries meet throughout the week and on Sundays. Details are available on the Get Involved page.

  • Not at all. You don’t need any prior church experience. Everything is clearly explained, and you’re welcome to participate at your own pace.

  • No. Giving is an opportunity for those who call Citizen Church home. As a guest, there is no expectation to give.

  • Get Involved is the best place to start. Whether you’re interested in joining a group, serving, attending a course, or learning more about our ministries, you’ll find clear next steps there.
