lead pastors
dustin & mandy woodward
Pastors Dustin and Mandy Woodward are the Lead Pastors of Citizen Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Growing up in the homes of Pastors, Dustin and Mandy got to experience first-hand what it takes to lead a church well. They are passionate about discipleship and seeing people come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and their lives transformed. Prior to becoming Lead Pastor, Dustin established thriving Youth and Young Adult ministries at Citizen Church that are still flourishing today. Mandy has an extensive background in the worship and creative realms, overseeing the creative department for years while helping to create a growing Women’s Ministry.
maui campas pastors
Pastors Apocalypsis (Apoc) and Maria Jose (MJ) serve as the Campus Pastors of Citizen Maui, having previously served as Associate Pastors. Together, they are passionate about leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus and building a healthy, life-giving church.
Apoc brings over 24 years of ministry experience, having served in roles such as worship leader and executive pastor. MJ is a creative leader and professional photographer with more than 15 years of experience, using her gifts to serve the church and community with excellence.

essential beliefs
one god
The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM,” the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit - commonly known as the Trinity (Deut. 6-4, Isaiah 43:10-11, Matt. 28:19).
The Deity of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The Scriptures declare: His virgin birth (Matt. 1:23, Luke 1:31-35). His sinless life (Heb 7;26, 1 Peter 2:22). His miracles (Acts 2:22, Acts 10:38). His substitutionary sacrifice on the cross (1 Cor. 15:3, 2 Cor. 5:21). His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matt. 28:6, Luke 24:39, 1 Cor.15:4).His ascension to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9-11, Heb. 1:3).
the holy spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the caring Spirit of God the Father who empowers us to live holy lives and to minister to those around us more effectively. We believe that the Holy Spirit baptizes us (a) into the Body of Christ, (b) into the fullness of His supernatural power. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the biblical spiritual gifts (Gal 5:16, Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8, 1 Cor. 12).
the church
The Church has a mission to seek and save all who have not come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. We believe “the Church” consists of the people who, throughout time, have accepted God’s offer of redemption regardless of religious denomination - through the sacrificial death of His son Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:19-20, Eph. 1:22-23, 2:19-22).
the blessed hope
We believe in the personal, visible return of Christ to the earth. We believe in the resurrection of the body and the final judgment resulting in the eternal blessing of the righteous and the endless punishment of the wicked (1 Thes. 4:16-17, Matt. 25:31-46).
